Modern Wall Decor

Modern Wall Decor

Modern wall decor is very “in” right now and that’s because it’s not only eye-catching but it’s also one of the easiest ways to decorate your wall. And the reason for that is in the key word for it – “simplicity”.

Naturally, this doesn’t mean that everything simple is beautiful. The idea is that the outside layer or the built structure itself should be a piece of art.

Usually, we choose the right color, paint the wall or apply interesting wallpaper. In modern design though, you don’t need that, because the wall itself is considered a piece of art, which doesn’t need extra pampering for the purpose of decorating.

So how exactly do we fit a modern wall decor in our home/workplace interior?

It’s really easy actually. Look around and consider each wall as a separate piece of art. Consider shape of wall, thickness, wall finishes, openings, height, increasing or decreasing height along the length.

A simple, yet effective trick is a square opening in the wall. It will reduce the visual constraints and thus will give the impression that the room is bigger.

Another great touch is interior lighting, which can easily be experimented with and will contribute to the effect of the modern wall decor.

Garden Decor

Garden Decor

What’s garden decor? Not the plants, but the actual decorations of course. It’s what makes your garden special, different from the others, pleasant, charming, funny even or anything else you want to turn it in.

Personally, the garden is my favorite place to be – I can relax there, my children play and take photos there, we take walks in it and entertain ourselves with the amazement of little things of nature. Let’s wander through it together for a while.

When we enter the garden our sight is immediately attracted to all the different colors, textures and plant combinations. Whether it’s a formal garden design or a cottage design, some additional pieces of architecture throughout the garden always amaze and contribute to the individuality of the place. The choice is big – bird baths, garden statues, seating areas and water features and simply everything you can think of for your garden style.

Another great and intriguing idea for garden decor, and especially for patio decor, is adding different types of containers. Again, unleash your imagination and come up with some stylish, interesting and original places to put some soil in and grow plants. Besides the classic flowerpots, you can use old kitchen odds and ends, discarded tubs and old logs with rotted out gnarled holes.

And why don’t you try some figures? A scare crow or garden gnome or animal figures are always eye-catching and fun. And the next time you feel like you are in need of a change and decide to move your furniture, rearrange your garden figures instead. Simple, fun and effective.

A very popular idea is the water garden. It doesn’t necessarily need to be big. In fact, it can be only a small part or element from your garden. Running water from a small fountain for example gives you a relaxing sensation. And it doesn’t even need to be expensive or complicated. A simple basin, full of water, attracts birds and any other kind of wildlife and this presents an especially picturesque view from your window or from a nearby bench.

And, speaking of benches, we must remember that every garden needs to be a place you enjoy spending time in and so, it needs some garden furniture. Anything from patio umbrella and seating area to a pergola does the trick of bringing even more comfort to your personal garden space, turning it in your ultimate relaxation spot.

Childrens Bedroom

Childrens Bedroom

The fairytale world, where the princes awaits her prince in a castle, where the brave knight fights the dragon, where fairies enchant little girls, where the forests are deep and the sea is clear and inviting you to take on an adventure – everything that fascinates children’s imagination. You can give them that without necessarily taking them to the newest Disneyland park. Those are all children’s bedroom themes!

Naturally, children need furniture, combining both quality and the convenient right size. And since the place where they’ll be spending most of their time is the bedroom, why not start your decorating from there?

There are dozens of ways to make your child’s bedroom unique and we’re not talking just about different types of bed here. Why don’t you install a beautiful wardrobe and you’re child will have fun dressing up every day. And how about a brightly colored rug to add to the cheerful energy of the room? Either way, the style in which you decorate should be dictated by your child’s hobbies. A football theme for your little sports player and a Barbie themed bedroom for your little princess – unleash your imagination with the colors and patterns, because your child is only going to be young once and deserves a beautiful and fun room to play and laugh in.

Since large stores don’t offer much of a variety when it comes to children’s furniture you will probably have to prepare yourself for long and a lot of treks between stores and your home. In order to spare time, effort and gas money, why not try shopping online for the right decor. The variety is bigger, it’s only a click away and ‘click’ is all you have to do to purchase and simply await the delivery at your home. Easy, right?

Whether your child is a trucks and planes lover or a little ballerina – there’s the right furniture to match their tastes. Maybe your child likes art or maybe it is fascinated by stars and planets. Encourage your children to develop their interests through play and help them unleash their imagination in a custom decorated bedroom, which intrigues and inspires them. And now… isn’t it playtime?

Nice Country Home

Nice Country Home

The best way to achieve that homey, comfortable look in you home is going for the country home decor. This will bring a warm and relaxing feeling and make it the desirable place to spend time for everybody.

Wood and rustic tones are an essential part to the country home look, but the bright colors are the eye-catching details, that would certainly make your home twice as effective. Think about the colors of a rooster – this is a popular element in this type of home decor. You might also want to try out sunflowers for the kitchen.

For the decoration of the family room, most people go for the cabin type look – rustic wood, rough exposed beams and even rough textured wooden paneling. Decorate the walls with rustic wooden shadowboxes to add a special touch.

To go for the full impression, add a few country accents such as scattered pillows with a country theme and a richly colored quilt draped over a wooden rocking chair. Country-themed pictures are also an excellent and beautiful idea for the home decor. And don’t forget a few country-smelling candles to add a warm and welcoming atmosphere – scents like cinnamon and apple pie are ideal for the trick.

Now, the kitchen presents endless possibilities for the country look – roosters, sunflowers, cows, everything goes nicely. Adding a baker’s rack and a hanging pot rack would add even more charm to it. And if your cabinets are dropped down from the ceiling – even better, rooster statues or any other country accents would look lovely on them.

Unleash your imagination to create the perfect country home decor for you and your family! And if you are out of ideas – don’t worry, this is the most popular home design, so all you have to do is look through a few magazines or search the internet. Good luck!
